We spent 3 nights in a cozy Double Room and loved that the breakfast was both hearty and tasty, especially the fresh fruit selection! The sun terrace and garden area were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Just a small detail, the bathroom could use a more thorough cleaning, but it didn’t ruin our enjoyment at all. 😊

The venue was in a central location very close to the centre, Gardens, and the restaurant worth the £20 for 2 courses. Also, the hotel was placed 2 km from touristic place like Hulne Abbey. Got English breakfasts with tortellini meal and an extra sausage, as for instance.

Very central location in the old town of Alnwick, just 5 minutes walk to Alnwick Castle. Very good breakfast, parking behind the house.

Comfortable stay with character in a central location
I really enjoyed my six-night stay. The hotel, while not luxurious, was friendly, comfortable, and clean. The staff were lovely and flexible, and breakfasts were satisfying. The dining room's decor, with panels from the Titanic's sister ship, added a unique charm to our experience. The only downside was the limited option for evening meals.

I stayed in a spacious double room. It was clean, and I loved the good facilities. The windows were a bit noisy since we had to keep them open for fresh air. The decor was nice but the room needed a bit of deep cleaning. The staff was friendly and the whole vibe was cute.

Beautiful old house with a beautiful breakfast room.
The room door clattered and the street lamp shone directly through my room window.

Attentive staff in the bistro. . . Very good location to the castle and very quiet at night.
At breakfast there was little choice, here the English tourists are very strongly dealt with. Unfortunately, a lot of packaged food at breakfast. . . Mattresses are soft and the bath was sufficient.

The practical desk in our room was super helpful, and the breakfast offered a nice variety. Just a heads up, the full menu wasn't available on weekends, but overall, it was a fun and relaxing stay!

A great house, which doesn't let you expect so much from the outside. It's great inside. We had booked a night with half board. The dinner was great, so was the breakfast. The castle is just around the corner, there was free parking!
The only drawbacks are the size of the bath and the beds.

We were lucky and got an upgrade (suite). This one was very big and comfortable. The beautiful hall with original furnishings (panelling) of the Olympia (sister ship of the Titanic). Dinner was good (especially the boiled beef). Otherwise the price for the overnight stay would be a little bit "elevated".
The bathroom is functionally good, but a general overhaul wouldn't hurt. In my opinion overpriced dinner: if you want to dine in the beautiful hall, you can get a 3-course menu for a fixed price (you can choose from several dishes yourself) for £29.90 (by Scottish standards rather expensive)
